The Sound Art Forum of the 14 th edition of the SURVIVAL Art Review features three sound works that pose open questions about the possible practices and gestures at the disposal of contemporary composers. Sebastian Buczek approaches the subject of biomusic in his characteristically perverse manner – he has constructed an unusually corporeal instrument, which he will use to perform the score for a musical piece composed by his body that is battling against a disease. Konrad Gęca, showing equally profound intuition and sensitivity, reflects upon Oskar Hansen’s Open Form theory in a design of a chill-out space for factory workers, which is translated into a series of aural exercises for visitors to the exhibition. The composing-research group made up of Beniamin Głuszek, Monika Kowalczuk and Tymoteusz Witczak have prepared a composition for the listener’s thoughts and experiences, which reverses the relations between the listener and the piece of music.

W ramach działań Sceny Dźwiękowej w wystawę 14. Przeglądu Sztuki SURVIVAL wkomponowaliśmy trzy prace dźwiękowe stawiające otwarte pytania o możliwe praktyki i gesty współczesnego warsztatu kompozytorskiego. Grupa kompozytorsko-badawcza w składzie Beniamin Głuszek, Monika Kowalczuk i Tymoteusz Witczak przygotowała kompozycję na myśli i przeżycia słuchacza, odwracającą relacje słuchacz-utwór muzyczny.
